One is teething and one has bad allergies from all this hot-cold-hot weather going on.
ANYWAY - I've been taking this time to plan for the next few weeks... you saw my plans for this week in my Frog and Toad visual plans post (HERE), so I'm actually planning for the NEXT few weeks.
I'm going to start in on my hibernation unit.
(I'm also going to be doing some Arctic and Penguins stuff, but I'll save that for a later date)
Anyway - I went in and updated (AGAIN) my Bear Snores On pack.... which is actually turning into more of just a "Bears" unit...haha! So now it is 50 pages of fun!
This pack uses Bear Snores on (as well as Bear Feels Scared). It also teaches about hibernation. Activities include:
Sequencing
Tree Map - is, can, do for both Bear in the story and nonfiction bears
Vocabulary Cards for the story
Picture Dictionary
Label a Bear with caption activity
Show what you know!
Compare and contrast - spring/winter bears and two different books
Writing extensions
Noun and Verb sort with cut and paste activity
In November, I went in and added:
extra vocabulary cards for hibernation unit, Bear Facts writing pages, Extra Story Review Pages, and I
updated the Sorting Center
NOW, I went in and added 15 more pages!
There are more book study pages AND I added a Non-Fiction Student Reader
If you already bought it - then go download it again for your free updated version!
