Yes - I WAS doing this while i was bringing in the new year...
What else do you do when you have two kids at home and no sitter??
2012 was such a FABULOUS year - I have so many wonderful memories,
most of which I have shared with you (hope you don't mind)
and I will probably continue to share with your pictures of my girls
(and the hubs makes an occasional appearance)
and yes, I didn't know if we'd make it to midnight,
mostly because of B - she's teething right now and NOT sleeping very well... so she wakes up throughout the night, which means I'm not getting much sleep (hence the NEEDING more sleep too) -
and she doesn't have ANY teeth right now (yes, at a year old), so I think she's trying to get them ALL to come in at once - ugh!!
ANYWAY...
since I didn't know if we'd make it, I took some pictures of us "ringing in the new year"
.... a few hours early - haha!!

I totally understand how you feel when your little one is teething! My son no sooner gets back to sleeping through the night and then some more teeth are coming in! It makes for a lot of exhausting nights! I hope you made it to midnight and can get some extra sleep in!

I can't believe I made it up until midnight! I was watching Dick Clark, too. I loved the tribute to him and seeing all of the old footage. :)

Happy New Year! We have little ones, too, so we stayed home as well. Our 9-month-old has 5 teeth and has gotten them all within the past three months. He's done pretty well . . . but I think it's better to get them all at once than one at a time. Just get it done with, already!
