Whew!!
I'm finally finished with the math centers for Thanksgiving....
I thought I would get ahead with it my centers...I have some AWESOME Halloween (like actual Halloween - I've already done the bats and spiders) and Elections centers and activities thanks to some FABULOUS bloggers out there (thank you Alisha, Gladys, and Jennifer! and I'm sure there are TONS more out there that I'm leaving out - so sorry friends!! but you can be sure I will be posting about you laters!)...
Soooo....I'm headed down the calendar a little bit and getting a head start on my Thanksgiving centers...
This pack is filled with EIGHT math centers!
-Cover the Chart! - 2-digit addition using +10 or +20
-Thanksgiving Day Shopping - counting coins, with two different options; least amount of coins and/or a different way
-Even and Odd - answering addition and subtraction problems and sorting them into even and odd
-Measuring Tools - using inches to measure
-Time to Feast - time to the hour and half hour
-Spin a Friend - tally and bar chart with analyzing the data
-The Greater Team - comparing 2-digit numbers
-Lining up the Turkeys - ordering numbers, 2s, 3s, 5s, and 10s
All the centers come with a recording sheet and a cover sheet.
77 pages!
I'm halfway finished with the Literacy pack...I just keep coming up with ideas - ha!!

Alison - Yes, I do math centers- I teach about 20/25 minutes whole group and then do centers/small group for about 35/40 minutes :)
