"Jennifers" Sneaky Cupcakes

Did you know about this blog???

There are a TON of us Jennifers out there - and not just in bloggy land...but a ton of us here too! lol
I've always hated my name because of that fact. seriously.
One year on my softball team, we had like FIVE Jennifers...ugh!

But now I have a reason to like me name - because I'm associated with some AWESOME Jennifers out there! If you are Jennifer, go check them out!

And if you're not a Jennifer, you can still follow :) We won't turn you away.

In other news....

I bought my first set of clip art tonight - woohoo!! Excited to get creating. What else am I going to do now in my oh-so-exciting nights that I'm spending on the couch with my baby girl waiting for her to wake up for the next feeding?? ha!!
But I will say that we got lucky, she IS a pretty good sleeper at night.

I'm currently working on my circus/carnival theme - so excited!!

Although, I really want to find a good Dr. Seuss clip art set with LOTS of selection....do you know of anyone/where I can get one from?

AND I have a new sneaky recipe for you. And I PROMISE this is so yummy!! I just had a friend stop by and made her try one and she REALLY liked it!

TWO ingredient Cupcakes!!

Yep....just two ingredients.

Cake mix (any flavor will do)....and a can of pumpkin puree.
Make sure it's NOT the pumpkin pie mix!!
You can also do a box of brownie mix if you want to :)

Just put the can of pumpkin and the cake mix in a bowl - and stir!!

I know.

Sounds weird.

But, just think of the benefits of pumpkin:

anti-oxidants, beta-carotene, high in fiber, potassium, and zinc

And apparently, the batter is still pretty good -ha!

You follow the cooking directions on the cake mix box.

I usually cook them an extra 10 minutes, but that might be because I use stoneware.

Let them cool before you take the wrapper off though.

So there you go. Try it! I dare you! You will be pleasantly surprised! :)

YUM!!! I love those! I made some over the Christmas holiday, and I'm kinda embarrassed to say, but I ate every last one of them!!! :) I love the texture! I made them with a white cake mix, and they were fabulous and EASY!!! I'm all about easy!

I think I have some pumpkin in the pantry. I may have to make some tonight! :)

Does it have a pumpkin taste? I LOVE pumpkin... but chocolate cake and pumpkin doesn't sound all that tasty. Although your little one is obviously proving my thought wrong!
